This beautiful medal comes from Lourdes, France.
 
The front shows a beautiful cameo of the Blessed Virgin.  The verso has a scene of the Grotto of Massabielle during one of the apparitions of Our Lady to St. Bernadette and has the name of Lourdes under the Grotto.
 
The medal is ½” around and is uniquely flower shaped with a beautiful polished frame.
