This beautiful medal is imported from Lourdes, France.  It features a Byzantine image of Our Lady holding the Christ Child.  The medal is about ⅞” and is gold-plated brass with a blue enamel finish.  The 20” chain is 14k gold and features a 2” chain extension in case a longer length is desired.  The verso is stamped with a star and “Bethleem” (Bethlehem) beneath it as the sign of the atelier where the medal is produced in France.
