A beautiful tribute to Our Lady of Lourdes, this bronze Rosary features 6 mm round Amazonite beads for the Aves and 8 mm faceted light-blue oval Czech glass beads accented by leaf-shaped bronze bead caps for the Pater beads.  The centerpiece is a bronze replica of an antique medal - a beautiful rendition of Our Lady of Lourdes surrounded by flowers, filigree work, and fleur de lys.  The bronze crucifix is reminiscent of a church window and also a replica of an antique medal.  All findings are bronze also.  
 
The Virgin Mary asked Bernadette Soubirous to “Go and drink at the Spring and wash yourself there.”  The water at Lourdes has long been known to have healing properties, some of which have been miraculous.  The water is a symbol of cleansing, healing, and essentially our Baptism.  The beautiful Amazonite and Czech glass beads are reminiscent of the flowing water of this healing Spring.  As St. Bernadette reminds us, “One must have faith, one must pray:  this water would have no virtue without faith!”  And so, we too, without direct access to the healing Spring, can still ask Our Lady with faith for the healing and graces she wishes to give us through our devotion to this beautiful apparition approved by the Church.  
 
Each Rosary is carefully handmade and the recipient is prayed for during the creation process.
