This lovely walking or “pocket” decade Rosary features a stunning medal of Our Lady of Guadalupe with a faceted, diamond cut frame.  The verso features Good St. Joseph, whose year it is in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of his being proclaimed Protector of the Universal Church by Pope Pius IX.  
 
The brilliant blue beads reflect the beauty and protection of the mantle of Our Lady in this beautiful apparition to bring us the comfort of her loving maternity.  As she reminded Juan Diego, “Am I not here who am your Mother?  Is there anything else you need?”  This Marian apparition was the first recorded in North America and thus she has been given the title of Patroness of the Americas.
 
The Ave beads are lapis blue 8mm howlite and the Pater bead is a beautiful faceted aqua Czech glass bead.  Tiny aqua faceted crystals and a floral bead cap finish the Rosary.  The crucifix is a Benedictine crucifix with white enamel inlay.  
 
Each Rosary is carefully handmade and the recipient is prayed for during the creation process.
